Users might like a data import function
I am thinking about a "Harmonization"/"Regularization" cookbook. The most extreme starting point for such a cookbook would be a user, that has two (or more) seperately sampled dataseries.
Currently, to get both of them into the saqc object, one would have to merge the data beforehand in a .csv
file or in a dataframe and by this, blow the data up.
One possibillity to avoid this, would be to introduce the user to the superiority of dios
first. But this only works if he is operating in PI - mode.
I think it would be great, to have a data import function for the saqc object, that adds a new column to the existing data in the saqc object. Like so:
saqc = saqc.SaQC(data=data1)
saqc = saqc.tools.import(field='data2', source='path_to_other_data')
saqc = saqc.tools.import(field='data3', source=pd.Series([1,2,3]))
Wouldnt that be nice?
