PyData Sphinx Theme
On one of the Mattermost channels the following theme was promoted. The authors claim to provide a responsive design, which would be a great improvement over our current doc page. Any thoughts?

I agree. Also it gets rid of that old-windows-version look, we currently have a bit. However, i couldnt immediately figure, how much of the responsiveness actually requires some CSS.
I tried out to just switch to the theme and it works and really looks fresher. But we would have to reformat the front page and reorganize the topic grouping to fit the theme.
I would like to have this "panels" style landing page. Like pandas - (they also use the new Pydata theme.) However, the panels can be introduced without the new theme as well, since thats a seperate sphinx package.
